The HealthPro Upgrade Kit will enable you to upgrade your IQAir HealthPro to a HealthPro Plus in a matter of minutes. As a result, your new HealthPro Plus will filter gaseous pollutants and odors, in addition to allergens, dust and other airborne particles. It's as easy as 1-2-3 to upgrade your HealthPro.

- Installing Your V5-Cell ™ Filter
- Ensure that the IQAir is disconnected from the power supply. Open the two locking arms, ensuring that both are fully extended outwards. (For details, see chapter 5.3 in your HealthPro Plus Manual).
- Remove the diffuser and frame 3 containing the IQAir HEPA Filter.
- Insert the V5-Cell Gas Filter into the empty frame 2. Ensure that the arrows on the filter label point upward and the filter is pressed firmly into the frame. (For details, see chapter 5.6).
- Place frame 3 and the diffuser back onto the air cleaner.
- Push both locking arms inwards simultaneously to close your IQAir. (For details, see chapter 5.4.)
- Replacing Your Electronic Control Panel
- Take the new HealthPro Plus electronic control panel from the shipping container. Retain the container, as it must be used to return the original HealthPro electronic control panel (see below).
- Remove the original control panel by inserting a flat screw driver into one of the small openings on either side of the control panel. This will release the panel, enabling you to lift it out of its housing.
- The control panel is connected to the HealthPro via a flat cable. Disconnect the flat cable by gently pulling the red plug at the end of the cable from the control panel.
- Remove the new control panel from the plastic bag and connect it to the red plug.
- Clip the control panel into the housing and reconnect your HealthPro Plus to the power supply.
- Sending Back Your Original Electronic Control Panel
- Place your original electronic control panel in the Upgrade Kit's shipping container.
- Attach the enclosed pre-paid Return Label to the outside of the container.
- In large, legible text write your HealthPro's serial number on the outside of the container. The serial number can be found at the bottom of your IQAir device.
- Take the sealed, labeled container to your mail room, any FedEx office, or any Fed driver or call 1-800-Go-FedEx (1-800-463-3339) for the nearest drop-off location. Shipping charges have been prepaid by IQAir.
No paperwork is required.
