The IQAir GCX MultiGas is tailored for high-capacity, high-performance filtration of gases, chemicals, and odors. With its advanced filter cartridge design, the GCX MultiGas performs like a professional gas mask to maximize capture of a wide spectrum of molecules. It also delivers superior filtration of particulate contaminants.
The GCX Multigas offers 75% more filtration media, 20% more airflow and longer filter service life than the GC Multigas. It also includes anti-tamper features, designed to keep people out of the filters and prevent accidental unplugging in public.
The GCX Multigas is the top seller for people controlling multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS).

Customized Gas and Odor Control
The IQAir GC AM is compact and customized for specific gaseous contaminants and odors. Just like a professional gas mask, IQAir maximizes filter efficiency for different gases and odors by offering the right filter cartridge. And while gas and odor control is a particular strength of these systems, the GC ™ Series also offers excellent filtration efficiency for particles.
Gas Cartridge Technology
The IQAir GC AM uses four filter cartridges to hold up to 12 lbs. of gas phase media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact between the air and gas phase media, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high air flow rates.
High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration
The particulate filtration GC units complements the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97 percent of particles before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging. The GC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 97 percent at .3 microns. The post filter is electrostatically charged to trap particulate pollutants and microorganisms (bacteria and viruses) |
