The 402 Smoke unit uses a particle filter with active carbon. The SmokeStop filter is recommended for use in rooms where heavy gaseous pollutants such as cigarette and cigar smoke or other VOC's are present. The 402 Smoke Unit effectively purifies air in rooms as large as 365 sq. ft. Using patented 2-Stage HEPASilent™ technology, it captures 99.97% of the tiniest 0.1 micron particles on Speed One, including allergy-provoking pollen, dust mites, mold spores, and pet dander.
