The HealthMate Plus™ adds potassium iodide to the 13-15 pound carbon/zeolite filter which specifically helps remove volatile organic chemicals in addition to the other gases and odors that the HealthMate captures. This is particularly useful for creating a healthier indoor environment for people who have chemical sensitivity. The HealthMate Plus™ also has a True Medical HEPA filter, with 60 sq. ft. of medical HEPA material, certified to remove 99.97 percent of airborne particles 0.3 microns and larger, which means that once particles are captured they are permanently removed from the air for easier breathing (the same HEPA filter as the HealthMate). It comes with wheels already attached for easy use and portability. The powerful centrifugal fan maximizes air output while minimizing energy usage for pulling air through the filters, which means lower cost and faster room air purification (for rooms up to 1500 sq. ft. with normal ceiling heights). Available in white, sandstone, black and silver - so it blends better into your room's decor.
