CS 5000™ Walk-Through Metal Detector

The CS 5000™ is an affordable unit for the budget-conscious. With enhanced microprocessor-based technology, the CS 5000 provides improved detection performance and increased operating flexibility. It can be used in virtually any security checkpoint application and offers many of the same features found on our advanced walk-through units.

Overhead Control Unit LCD Display, alarm lights, LED bar graphs and control touchpad plus all wiring, electronics and connections are integrated into a single lockable overhead compartment which eliminates external control box and exposure of wires. Microprocessor Controlled State of the art microprocessors ensures flexible programming and maximum sensitivity. Detection Field Unique coil design offers multi-dimensional detection field with total uniformity both horizontally and vertically. This design, plus a choice of three levels of ankle level boost, eliminates traditional weak signals and hot spots. Target detection is precise regardless of its location in the archway. Audible and Visual Alarms Audible alarm and red LED Alarm Lights indicate metal has been detected. The Red LED alarm light appears even when the audible alarm has been turned OFF. Green READY LIGHT indicates the unit is ready for operation and has full power.

Overhead Control UnitThe one-piece assembly houses all the detection electronics and safeguards them from weather and tampering. It is weatherproof and has a hinged door that locks with a key. Located on the front of the Overhead, the LED indicator is safeguarded by a clear Plexiglas window, allowing high visibility of the READY LIGHT, ALARM LIGHT and BAR GRAPH LED.Microprocessor Controlled State of the art microprocessors ensure maximum sensitivity and flexibility to program the MS 3500 to fulfill various security applications.Detection Field Unique coil design offers multidimensional detection field and three levels of ankle boost sensitivity to ensure uniformity of screening in all security applications.Rugged Design Rugged, heavy-duty 3/32 in. armor aluminum plates with resilient corner caps for safeguarding against maximum physical abuse.
